At the base of Jebel Buhais and less than an hour from Dubai, the center offers visitors a unique insight into Sharjah’s geological landscape. The area was covered by ocean millions of years ago and so today is covered in all kinds of fossils, minerals and rocks. The center was designed by the famous Hopkins Architects and houses a cafe, small theatre and walking trail.
